About Me
Anonymity allows people to say and do a great many things that they would not dare do in their every day life. To some it is the ticket to speak freely without embarrassment to their families. To others it has become a license to do far more nefarious things. The internet itself has exploded and thrived in this anonymity. From video blogs in Boston to protest videos from Burma, people have shared information and opinions in a way they could never do before, all from behind the mask of 1s and 0s.
Akira Oni is an idea. He is a means for a author such as myself to voice differing perspectives with the layer of separation necessary to take criticism. Perhaps he should be a character himself.
